Site Announcement

Hey y’all.  Just wanted to interrupt the flow of chapters to thank everyone for reading.  (Yep, I know you’re here even if you aren’t saying anything…well, not “you” specifically, but someone.)  Anyway.  Your continued support of my writing endeavor is very much appreciated!

Now onto some quick information on both of the books currently available on this site…

Ritual Awakening (Part 1 of the Denying Destiny Trilogy)

Well, the full moon is finally here so that means it’s time for the Ritual Awakening to begin!  If you didn’t catch the prologue then be sure to check it out before reading the first chapter when it becomes available.  For anyone who’s been reading The Freelancer or any of my fan fiction, this one is going to have a VERY different tone than the other…yet be somehow familiar.   ;)

The Freelancer (Book 1 in the Undercover Series)

The Freelancer will be going on hiatus during the month of July to make way for a proper launch of Ritual Awakening.  If you’ve fallen behind – or haven’t started it yet – then now is your chance to catch up on the suspense and the romance.  Enjoy the breather until it returns in August because once it returns, expect things to take a dramatic turn.  You won’t want to miss it!

Ritual Awakening Teaser

~*~ Life is always so simple…Until it isn’t. ~*~

Anya Lucasta is the typical high school junior leading a typical life until an argument with her best friend leaves her friend in the hospital and Anya fighting to understand what happened in those terrifying moments.  Unable to convince others of her innocence when she herself isn’t even convinced, she sets off on a dangerous path of self-discovery; a path with far-reaching consequences she never could have imagined…

By day, Jacob Doyle fights to give a second chance to teenagers who would otherwise be without hope.  But under the cover of darkness, hope is the last thing on his agenda as he commands every resource at his disposal to fulfill the prophesy unknown to all except those within his inner circle.  All the signs point to now and every painstaking step has been taken to make way, yet the key continues to allude them.  That is, until one chance meeting brings what he wants within his grasp while threatening to change the course of his life forever…

Nick Erickson knows vampires, psychics, blood-thirsty cults, prophecies and the like are all the stuff of fiction and nothing more.  Everything he knows as fact is turned on its head when he agrees to a simple favor to help out a friend.  Now, he finds himself inexorably drawn to Anya more with each passing day.  What he believes to be a harmless crush may soon be revealed as destiny.  But will this brush with destiny save the world or cost him his life?

…Once the ritual awakening begins, can anything be done to deny your destiny?

The Freelancer – Teaser

When bombs are in play, hearts shouldn’t be.

~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~

When FBI Special Agent Jackson Caldwell is sent to Dallas to thwart a vague terrorist plot against DFW International Airport, he assumes it’s either a hoax or a test to determine if he’s ready to get out from behind the desk and back into the field. Either way, he wants to close the case quickly and get back to DC. Too bad his new partner is more interested in chasing skirts than chasing bad guys…

Chad Blackstone is a man teetering on the edge of genius and madness. For far too long he’s been the punchline in life’s jokes, but each step of his plan begins falling into place, bringing power and respect finally within his reach. No one can stop him now. Nothing will stand in his way. Nothing.

Jenna Monroe is a woman whose past is shrouded in mystery. Her mundane life marches forward like clockwork until the condo across the hall is rented to a man with dangerous good looks and deadly secrets. As the two men in her life play out a lethal game of chess, is she just a hapless pawn?

Or is she pulling all the strings?

First Novel

Hey y’all.  Thanks for coming to visit me on Your Littlest Sin.  I thought I’d take a moment to tell you about the first novel that will be made available to you here.

The Freelancer

Originally, the plan was to release this first into paperback format.  That was the plan until about two days ago when I decided I was a complete moron.  Don’t worry, I have these moments quite a bit.  I’m just glad I wasn’t fighting with myself about it out loud.

You see, The Freelancer is the first novel I ever wrote (and didn’t delete because I thought it sucked).  It occurred to me that the writing in this novel isn’t exactly to the same level as my more current work which seems to bother me to no end.  So I have two choices: spend forever rewriting it or accept the fact that I’ll never have it reach the level of perfection I seek and put it out there already.

So I choose the latter.

While I hope you enjoy The Freelancer – obviously, right? – I acknowledge there may be some grammar issues or typos from time to time.  It seems I’ve been with this particular manuscript for too long to be effective in my edits any longer.  If you see something, feel free to point it out.  As long as you don’t start screaming at me about a misplaced modifier then we’re good.

Enjoy!
