You have a good point, but how often do drunk people really have a solid idea of how drunk they are? I’m not much of a drinker myself, but I’ve been around peeps who are all frisky and peppy one minute and totally passed out the next. I was trying to convey Jenna’s level of drunkeness by the fact she couldn’t remember to take off her boots before she took off her pants, but the whole thing was pretty subtle. I thought it might be a bit too much to switch from Jenna’s perspective to the all-knowing author to state that she was hammered.

Oh, you’ve also got to keep in mind that leaving the club early just means they left before Trista and Blaine. Clubs around here don’t close until at least 2am, sometimes later, and they would probably stay even later since Blaine owns the club…

So, here’s the timeline: Partied at the club, ran into Chad, drove home (shame on Jackson for that one!), phone call to Collin, fooling around in the bedroom, tearing apart the living room to look for condoms (which took kind of a while since the man couldn’t find the bag he’d just carried in), fooled around a little more, passed out, woke up, went to Lana’s party, came home, attacked each other on the carpet.

Mmmmmm….Just wondering……Maybe I missed it, but I got the feeling that the night before at Jacksons, they were all ‘have a tour of the bedroom’, and Jackson didn’t think the condoms would last the night……

I didn’t get the feeling that they were so drunk that they couldn’t remember anything, or ‘deal’ with the condoms, and passed out??? I got the impression that they left the club early, Jenna ‘feigning a yawn’, to leave early…..

It was the very next night wasn’t it???? If I’m totally off base, please feel free to cyber-slap me!!!!! lol……

Yep. I felt bad for her the whole time I was writing this, especially in the coming chapters. But I’m sure Jackson will be the one to tell her in the most respectful, calm and appropriate way possible. Oh, wait…I forgot…I’m the writer for this story, huh? That doesn’t really sound like something I’d let happen, does it?

Gotta feel for Jenna though…..she thinks she knows Jackson *sighs*, and when the truth comes out she is going to be devastated. Of course, I guess it all depends on HOW she finds out…….
